Hi, I’m Lori Lesh—a professional, published photographer based in Van Etten, in the heart of New York’s beautiful Finger Lakes Region. Photography has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I was always the one behind the camera, preserving memories through my lens, even before I knew it would become my life’s work.After raising my two daughters, I made the decision to turn that passion into a profession. I began with formal photography classes, but quickly realized I thrive through hands-on learning. That realization led me to attend workshops, shootouts, and in-person training sessions—where I had the honor of learning from some of the most talented photographers in the industry. It was during this time that I refined my artistic eye, developed a deep understanding of newborn safety, and discovered my true style.In 2010, I founded Lori Lesh Photography, and I’ve been working full-time ever since, specializing in Maternity, Newborn, and Children’s Fine Art photography. My work has been published in over 20 magazines and recognized with numerous awards, many of them featuring my granddaughter and muse, Reece.In recent years, I’ve expanded my role in the photography community—as a guest artist, photo editor, and instructor for one of the leading photography education platforms. This work has fueled my creativity and opened the door to the world of composite photography, which I now passionately incorporate into my fine art sessions.My style is both artistic and imaginative, blending storytelling with creativity to craft one-of-a-kind portraits. I’m always pushing myself to grow, evolve, and bring fresh, meaningful ideas to every session.It’s an incredible honor to capture the moments that matter most—and I’m grateful every day to do what I love.
